Xuan Juliana Wang is a fiction writer.
A Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, Juliana has received grants and awards from The Corporation of Yaddo, Cite des Arts International, Breadloaf Writer's Conference, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, NYFA, and the Elizabeth George Foundation. Her short stories been published by The Altantic Monthly, Ploughshares, Narrative, Gigantic, The Brooklyn Rail, the Pushcart Prize Anthology and Best American Nonrequired Reading 2016.
Juliana was born in Heilongjiang, China but after age seven, did most of her growing up in Los Angeles. She currently lives in New York City but has also lived, studied, and eaten many things in Paris and Beijing as well.
